CONTEG Worldwide – A Milestone for ENTRHAL

When we started developing our CONTEG Container Testing System, we had a clear goal in mind:
to create a solution that makes daily work in CSSDs safer, more objective, and more efficient.

Today we are proud to share an important milestone:
CONTEG is now in use internationally – across eight countries worldwide.

From Europe to Asia and Australia, more and more hospitals and partners rely on our system to objectively test the seal integrity of sterilization containers.

International partners and installations

We are especially proud of the strong collaboration with our international partners. CONTEG has already been introduced in the following markets:

  • United Kingdom – together with Surgical Holdings
  • New Zealand – with our partner Hallmark Surgical
  • Malaysia – represented by AEKA Medical
  • Hong Kong – with Caster
  • China – through Beijing M&B Electronic Instruments
  • Japan – together with Muranaka Medical Instruments
  • Australia – via Heaton Instrumentedics
  • Germany – already installed in several hospitals and CSSDs

At the same time, we continue to receive new international inquiries, showing that the demand for objective container testing is growing worldwide.

A product developed from real-world practice

CONTEG was developed based on a clear observation:
The connection between container lid and base is a critical part of the sterile barrier system – and therefore an important factor for patient safety.

With CONTEG, hospitals can test this connection:

  • quickly
  • objectively
  • reproducibly

before the container is sealed and sterilized.

Damaged or defective containers can therefore be identified early and removed from the process.

Improved documentation with label printer option

Another component of the CONTEG portfolio is the optional label printer.

Why does this matter?

Documentation and traceability are becoming increasingly important in modern CSSD workflows.

With the label printer, users can:

  • print test results directly after testing
  • clearly label containers with OK / NIO status
  • improve traceability
  • support internal quality management
  • simplify audit processes

The result:
Less manual documentation, fewer questions later, and more transparency in daily workflows.

New Option: Test CONTEG – with our Rental Service

To give hospitals the opportunity to test the system in their own working environment, we now also offer a one-month rental service for CONTEG.

This allows healthcare facilities to:

  • test CONTEG directly within their own workflow
  • gain practical hands-on experience
  • evaluate the benefits for their container testing processes in daily practice

If you are interested, our service rental option can be requested directly through our responsible field sales representatives.

Our field sales team – close to our customers

Our field sales team is in close contact with hospitals and partners every day and supports customers with all questions regarding our solutions.

Looking ahead

The international expansion of CONTEG confirms that objective testing of sterilization containers is becoming increasingly important worldwide.

We are grateful for the trust of our partners and customers and will continue to develop our solutions further.

More updates and developments around CONTEG will follow soon.
